Support for an "Ubuntu One Private Repository" that automatically backs up your installed .debs to Ubuntu One

Registered by Kenny Strawn

Given Chrome OS's highly centralized setup -- so centralized that you just log in and all your data and settings are saved -- if we ever want to compete we need to do something about it. That's why I'm requesting an "Ubuntu One Private Repository" that is automatically created by Ubuntu One, unlike the Launchpad PPAs, and has Ubuntu One do the following:

    * automatically back up your installed .debs to it daily
    * automatically install them on new computers or reinstallations from it -- without user interaction

This way, even software doesn't require manual reinstallation but is automatically saved and reinstalled to all computers you have, along with all user data and settings.

I would also like to see Ubuntu One back up the settings from all the software backed up so that the user doesn't have to reconfigure the software when it's reinstalled.
