Myspace/Facebook Desktop Intergration
Having Myspace and or Facebook intergrate directly with the desktop will be the first stage in a "Social Operating System". It will provide better intergration of web services and the ubuntu desktop. giving better user experience.

This, of course, depends on the user's preferences. I was looking to see it implimented as a simple widget that the user could choose to have. This widget would simply display things like a "New Comment", "New Photo Comment", etc. Clicking these would then take you to the site through your default browser(Firefox of course).
Work on integrating Facebook is already underway as part of the gOS system by Google and Walmart. With a myspace widget ubuntu 8.04 can be released with social features other operating systems haven't even thought of yet. Making it a truly social OS, in todays online social world.
