Mozilla Upstream Bug Procedures (Intrepid)

Registered by Alexander Sack

Mozilla Bugs can be roughly be sorted into three main blocks:

   1. crash bugs
   2. feature bugs
   3. wishlist bugs.

We established several practices in the past that were reviewed during UDS in Prague 2008. This documents summaries the outcomes and describes the actions that came out of this discussion.

One particular focus of this session was improved upstream bug procedures.
Goals
    * Better streamline the mozilla bug procedures, especially in regards of upstream bug triaging.
    * get more upstream involvement in crash processing.
    * Lower the bar to get started on mozilla bug triage by revisiting the ubuntu mozillateam bug procedures and its tags and states used in order to allow bugcontrol and bugsquad members to effectively contribute to mozilla bug triage.
