Loading the desktop before login in

On single user computers, where the same apps are always launched at startup, the entire desktop and apps should be loaded before asking the user his password. That would avoid the annoying "enter-

It might be a good idea, as long as it's disabled by default or easy to turn off (since some users might just want to do something on a terminal, or start a session in an alternative desktop environment where they would just use a single program -for ex. a game- and have 99% of the resources for it). Also, I'm not sure if it would really compensate the time invested in implementing this, or there are more interesting things to work on. --RainCT
