Why not unify Ubuntu and Kubuntu Wallpapers but with different colors palette.
GNOME and KDE are totally differents because are two different concepts and obviously can't be the same thing.
But have one thing in common, are two Canonical distro and have the same core.
Therefore about artwork, I think that for uniformity e coherency, they must have same points in common. The wallpaper can be the first answer at this. But with different colors in according to colors palette distro.
