Registered by Nick Barcet

The UEC image store is one of the key differentiators that Ubuntu offers. We need to define the requirements for the next version of it and select the proper framework to base this work on.

= Requirements =
The following is meant to prime to conversation on requirement

== Enterprise needs ==
 * local mirroring and selection of images
 * ACL on images
 * adding own images

== ISV needs ==
 * API to control their own images life cycle
 * Ability to sell images/support for images

== ISP needs ==
 * Integration of the image store in their own interface

== Other needs ==
 * Provide the ability to browse and download from the image store without installing UEC
 * Provide means to deploy images to public cloud providers

= Framework selection =
Compare the benefits of expanding the existing code to using other existing frameworks
