Preserving scroll position in attendance/gradebook views

When it gets to the end of the month, you have to scroll over and then each time a new code is entered it automatically scrolls back over to the far left, can it stay on the right perhaps until Save is clicked? Can it also set the default to position the screen to see the day being entered, so if this is the 27th October, then it would make sure that field is visible.
