Per-file compression in backup

Registered by spade

The non-compressed backup is safe and fast, but space consuming. A compressed backup is more risky and slow, but compact. A good compromise is to create a per-file compressed backup.

Files that are already compressed (*.mp3, *.avi, *.mpg, *.tar.gz, etc.) must not to be compressed again. Files that should not be compressed can be defined by the user.

Whiteboard

Implementation with TAR is not very easy. But it could be done if we use DAR.
