Whiteboard

Direct PnP use of iPods with MythMusic
Myth2iPod is a package to export videos to iPod or create Pod casts. This perhaps is a good package to include for portability of backend videos
http://ubuntuforums.org/archive/index.php/t-315898.html | fusedaap support for streaming iTunes music from network machines perhaps also a good plan this build as well

Export script works well with Gutsy and iTunes 7.3.2.6: http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/index.php/Ipod_export
Modify the command line to say: "$command = "nice -n19 ffmpeg -i $filename -f mp4 -vcodec xvid -b 300 -qmin 3 -qmax 5 -bufsize 4096 -g 300 -acodec aac -ab $bitrate -s $size -aspect $aspect '$newfilename' 2>&1";"
Currently I SCP the files to a sever for friends to access, then they manually add them to iTunes.

Marking superseded. Any exporting work that the Mythbuntu team does should be through mythexport
