Documentation for Projects in Launchpad

Registered by Michael Lamothe

I would like to see a way for Launchpad users to add documentation for their Launchpad based projects. I imagine that this would be useful for application users who are looking for official information on the project including things like online help, setup information and supported configurations. At the moment, I have to host these pages externally with sites like SourceForge, but I have no other reason for a SourceForge project. One of the criticisms of my project is that it has too many sites to get information from. I'm in the process of consolidating but this is one thing that I cannot. I would be happy for it to use the Launchpad branding, I just want a place to put the information.

A wiki is certainly one format that could be adopted but I would really like to see something like docbook. That way I don't have to write 2 sets of man pages, one for the web and one for yelp. As I'm sure that you are aware, we can export docbook in many formats.
