Run certification testing for 11.04
Before the release is completed:
*Run weekly testing to ensure certification will be successful at release time
*Support unity testing for HW compatibility
*Determine what systems will be tested for certification
Once 11.04 is officially released, we need to ensure that all appropriate systems in our testing labs are certified. This will require:
* determining which systems should be certified
+ assume everything by default, meaning it's easier to make a list of what should not be tested/certified
* perform automated and manual testing
* issue certificates as appropriate
Open questions:
* which systems can be dropped from the list?
+ everything older than April 2006
+ anything else?
* should purchase of certification assets still be required to issue certificates?
