Burg replacing grub2 as default bootloader of ubuntu

Registered by Biswarup Ray

Burg is a new boot loader based on GRUB. It uses a new object format which allows it to be built in a wider range of OS, including Linux/Windows/OSX/Solaris/FreeBSD, etc. It also has a highly configurable menu system which works in both text and graphic mode. The configuration file is less complicated than grub and theme selection is easier compared to grub. Home Page: http://code.google.com/p/burg/ . Relevant brainstorm idea: http://brainstorm.ubuntu.com/idea/23261/ . Even if it is not made the default,it's expected that a safe method will be provided to burg users to update burg automatically after kernel update: http://askubuntu.com/questions/4905/how-to-automatically-update-burg-after-a-kernel-update .
